Early Birds with Tickets: 9:30-10am Open to General Swappers: 10am-12pm Is your craft room overflowing with remnants of projects past? Have you been wanting to try out something new, but don’t want to invest in supplies you may only use once? Join fellow crafters for our first ever craft supply swap! WHAT IT IS: Between March 2nd and March 6th, bring your unused or very lightly used craft supplies to the circulation desk, and receive a special early bird ticket. On Saturday, March 7th, come to the library between 9:30 and 10 am to swap your ticket for a new-to-you supply. Receive an extra ticket by donating directly to the library from our wish list of craft supplies. Doors open for the general public (non-ticket holders) at 10 am. Available craft supplies at the swap will depend entirely on what others have donated. To participate in the swap, you must bring an item to swap. (Money CANNOT be accepted.) Swaps will be a 1:1 ratio of similar size/value and are on the honor system. GUIDELINES FOR DONATIONS: Only materials in unused, or very lightly used condition. Only craft supplies, no recycled materials. Donations accepted during open hours Monday, March 2 through Saturday, March 7 (until 12pm) only. You do not have to have a ticket or bring in materials early, items can be swapped the day of. The Library reserves the right to sell, or otherwise discard materials as we so choose. If requested, an acknowledgment of donation will be provided. A listing of donated items and/or monetary value for the items donated will not be provided. The library programming department can only accept material donations or gift cards. Any monetary donations go toward the library’s general fund.
