Description
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Saturday, April 29th from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm for a Double Spiral Chain Maille Bracelet class with juried artist Deb Fairchild. Chain maille jewelry is made using two pairs of pliers to connect jump rings (small wire rings) in a variety of surprising ways to form beautiful and intriguing designs. The double spiral is a classic, graceful and elegant design. It makes a lovely base for a charm bracelet. Students will be using anodized aluminum jump rings during the class while learning the techniques. Kits with sterling silver jump rings and clasps will also be available, if preferred. No prior chain maille experience required. Students should bring magnifiers if they typically need them for close work. The tuition for the class is $35 per student and must be paid in advance. There will be an additional $15 materials fee that will be paid to the instructor on the day of the class. If students wish for the sterling silver option the materials fee will be $45-$50, depending on the price of silver, which students will take home. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. To register for this workshop either call the League of NH Craftsmen – Fine Craft Gallery at 603.279.7920 or visit the Gallery at 279 Daniel Webster Highway in Meredith.
