FREE Mental Health First Aid Training

Join our instructors via Zoom for our Free Mental Health First Aid Training. After completing this early intervention program, you will know how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health crisis and refer someone to the appropriate professional support and services.

Some other key skills and objectives of this course include:

• Understanding the 5 steps of the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE)
• Evaluate the impact of early intervention on mental health challenges
• A?pply the appropriate step in both crisis and non-crisis situations
• Choose appropriate methods for self-care following the application of Mental Health First Aid

Please note, this course is blended, so there will be a 2-hour self-guided pre-work required before the live Zoom training. While this event is free, registration is required to ensure access to materials and enough time to complete your guided pre-work.
