Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, for Holiday Tangling Zentangle Class with qualified instructor, Maya Hardcastle. Zentangle is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images one stroke at a time for the non-artist and artist alike. The Zentangle drawing method provides a structured path to create art from patterns by breaking them down into basic steps and opens the door of art to all ages and varying abilities. Focus, stress reduction, and confidence are just some of the benefits that are discovered through the Zentangle drawing method. Learn some new tangles that are reminiscent of winter, holiday themes, night skies, light and winter flora. Create unique cards, gift tags, bookmarks and more. In this 4-hour class, you will learn to create Zentangle designs with the addition of color and sparkle and there will be opportunity to experiment with a several different color media. Tuition is $40.00 per student and there is a $15.00 materials fee paid directly to the instructor. Materials include: a white marker, a glitter marker, tiles and other paper items to tangle on. Students should bring their own basic materials: micron pens, pencils, drawing tool used to smudge (tortillon), and any other favorite art supplies. A Basic Kit can be purchased for an additional $10.00. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
