Laconia Talks is a monthly series of community conversations that explores many of the critical issues that are impacting our community today. This program is free to the public and seeks to engage and educate passionate community members, business leaders, organizations and civic leaders in meaningful and impactful conversations, and provide the opportunity to generate new partnerships and mobilization strategies. Every conversation is focused around a key topic that centers the discussion and inspires the development of goals and creative solutions, with local and state-wide experts leading the discussions. Through each 90-minute conversation, community members from various backgrounds and different ideas will be brought together, to spark new passions in generating innovative solutions that will continue to strengthen our community. Laconia Talks is not a gripe session, a town hall, an academic lecture or a focus group, and is never sponsored by a political party or focused on specific business development. In a collaborative partnership with Lakes Region Public Access Television, each session will be recorded and a majority will be broadcast live, engaging more community members.
