Description
THE YEAR IS 1896 - Grover Cleveland is president. H.H. Holmes, the Gilmanton, New Hampshire-born murderer who shocked the country with his Chicago “Murder Castle”, is two weeks from his execution in Philadelphia. Sherlock Holmes is pursuing fiends who operate in the shadows and recesses of London.
The town of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire is finding its way. A bustling lakeside town accessible by train for just two decades, Wolfeboro’s economy is a fragile combination of industry and tourism. Industrial fires, an outbreak of diphtheria, job worries and other concerns simmer just under the surface of this quaint town.
At the local inn, people are dying. IMMERSE YOURSELF Examine the evidence. Find clues. Observe behaviors. Search corridors, stairwells, hidden spaces and grounds. Question witnesses. Watch for misdirection, listen for gossip and secreted life stories.
THIS ISN’T DINNER THEATER This is a full weekend involving multiple murders, where the guests and the staff are playing together. At mealtimes, walking down the hall, sitting at the bar--you’ll question what is relevant and who you should be watching more closely.
