Nuno Felting Scarf with Melinda LaBarge

On Saturday, September 10th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM sign up to create your own bright and colorful felt scarf in this Nuno Felting Scarf class with Melinda LaBarge.

Nuno Felting is the integration of silk fabric and wool roving to make one fabric. If you have never felted before or if you are looking to take your skill to the next level this class is for you.

Students will get one-on-one attention with instructor. Melinda will meet students at their skill level and work with them individually. No felting experience is necessary. There will be a delightful abundance of materials to create with from hand dyed silk, silk roving, printed silk materials and dyed locks. Students can pick what color scarf they will create.

Design options can be found on our website at: meredith.nhcrafts.org/classes. If students are interested to make more, materials will be for sale in class. Students are encouraged to bring a lunch or snack, seeing as the class will last 6 hours.

Students should bring the following materials/tools to class:
towels, scissors, pen/paper to take notes, camera (optional) to document process; rubber mat (optional) to stand on; comfortable shoes.

This class will be held in Meeting Room B at the Meredith Community Center which is located at 1 Circle Drive in Meredith, NH.

Tuition is $60 per student and a materials fee of $35 paid directly to the instructor on the day of the class.
