Painting the Garden with local artist, Hannah Twombly

Weather depending, we will transform ourselves into contemporary impressionists working en plein air with a botanical focus. All skill levels are encouraged. We will work step-by-step, learning pigment names, mixing a cohesive palette and transforming the daunting white canvas into a satisfying composure. Materials provided. About Hannah: I graduated from the Maine College of Art with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Master of Arts in Teaching. Although I still paint, I now focus on photography as a means of artistic expression. Sign-up required. Class capacity 10.
