Spend a few creative hours with us at The League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM to master the art of Reed Weaving in this Woven Footstool Class with instructor, Jean Reed. When finished with this 4-hour class, not only will you take home a beautiful antique reproduction footstool but you will have had the opportunity to weave the seat yourself with the Carolina close weave pattern. You can take your new skill and apply it to any chair or footstool that you have at home. This short footstool will make a great table topper or plant holder with a piece of Plexiglas attached to the top. No previous weaving experience is required. Tuition is $95.00 per student and includes a handcrafted footstool, reed materials, Plexiglas top, and all tools needed. Students should bring a hand towel to class. Space is limited to 6 students and pre-registration is required.
