    Color Theory in Painting          June 5 to June 8, 2017    1:00 to 4:00 p.m.     Materials Provided   $150
This four-day workshop explores the expanded color wheel and how colors interact in a variety of paint palettes. Students will strengthen their control of color by examining hue, value, temperature and chroma. A variety of suggestions for palette lay-out will also be discussed, demonstrating how to make the most of a limited palette, as well as what to do with the wide range of colors available today. This workshop will help students mix the colors they are aiming for more swiftly, achieve more dynamic and subtle color in their work, and get more out of color in general.   Sean Ware, Instructor
