    Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant
    We are a family owned business looking to add another member to our sales staff! If you are motivated, experienced, outgoing, and service-oriented, come join our team and help to close more deals! Please only apply if you have previous automotive sales experience.
    Required Qualifications:
    · Must have 1+ years automotive sales experience
    · Professional appearance and attitude
    · Must be enthusiastic and high energy throughout the sales workday
    · Excellent persuasive verbal communication skills
    · Time management skills and willingness to take initiative
    · Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially when handling objections and negotiating pricing
    · Knowledge of automotive industry and technical aspects of vehicles and ownership
    · Good knowledge of financing and basic mathematics skills
    · 3-5 years of previous sales or customer service experience preferred
    · Must have clean driving record and be insurable
    · Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
    · Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
    · Follow dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive
    · Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales
    · Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals
    · Complete all sales documentation in a comprehensive and accurate manner
    · Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival
    · Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
    · Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department
    · Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
    · Qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests
    · Close sales by overcoming objections; negotiating price; completing purchase contracts; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collect payment; deliver automobile
    · Actively promote and develop new business
    · Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects
    · Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
    · Generate leads for incoming sales using social media and websites
