About Us

Make-A-Wish New Hampshire creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish NH is here in your community, working to bring wishes to life across our state and right here in the Lakes Region. Today, we’re granting a wish every 4 days, but still only reaching 75% of the eligible children in NH. We’re on a journey to bring every eligible child’s wish to life – a goal that is born from the idea that a wish is an integral part of a child and family’s journey to health. A wish can be as sweet as wanting a puppy, as meaningful as wanting to travel far away from their illness, as connected as wanting to meet the celebrity that helped them through the hard days, or as significant as becoming something or someone they’ve always dreamed of. We bring these dreams to life by transforming lives, one wish at a time…I wish to have, I wish to meet, I wish to go, and I wish to be.

According to a 2022 US study of wish impact, 95% of health professionals surveyed believe a wish-come-true has positive impacts on the health of children. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illness, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family.
