Sponsors the Junior Senior friends youth mentoring program and the Foster Grandparent program in Belknap County/ Junior Senior Friends Building Relationships? A youth mentoring program matching volunteers (Senior Friends) with youth (Junior Friends) in a one-to-one relationship that creates positive opportunities for youth. Senior Friends are mentors to children, creating relationships built on trust. Volunteers strive to: ? Listen and understand. ? Set a positive example. ? Create trust through unconditional friendship, dependability and consistency. ? Introduce new opportunities and ideas. ? Have fun.
