Description
Due to a New Hampshire Humanities Grant for public programming the Belknap Mill is pleased to present Harnessing History: on the Trail of New Hampshire's State Dog, the Chinook. Bob Cottrell explores the history of the Chinook and their role in developing dog sledding in New Hampshire. He explains how man and his relationship with dogs bested machines during several polar expeditions.
