Jazz in the Park with the Tom Robinson Trio

This program will feature a set of music from Brazil and Cuba, as well as covers of some classic jazz tunes with a Latin flavor. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and join us for a summer evening of music! Tom Robinson and his trio have been performing throughout New England for the past 15 years. They are a jazz piano trio that plays a variety of different genres of Jazz - from Bop to Avant Garde, Monk and Latin. They like to bring a fun, improvisational approach to everything they play. The trio features Scott Kiefner on upright bass, Tim Gilmore on drums, and Tom Robinson on piano/Fender Rhodes.
